Honest Tea is the nation's top-selling organic bottled tea company with a mission to make great-tasting, truly healthy organic beverages sweetened with less sugar and fewer calories than most bottled beverages. They led the survey which included setting up an unmanned stall with bottles of their item on showcase. Clients were asked to utilize the honor system and leave $1 for every bottle of tea they bought. Eventually, 80 percent of Washingtonians paid for their drink, and the study shows Washington D.C. top the least honest city in America. 92 percent was the national average and that was still far at 80%. Presently, a tea test is far from the last word on a city or state's aggregate estimation of honesty. However this is not the main study to find D.C. on a few less than perfect rankings. This is the fourth year that Honest Tea has led their minimal experiment, throughout which they went to every one of the 50 states and 61 areas in sum. Alabama and Hawaii tied for the most trustworthy states, where 100 percent of clients paid for their tea.
Alabama 100% honest
Hawaii 100% honest
Indiana 99% honest
Maine 99% honest
Iowa 98% honest
Nevada 98% honest
Oklahoma 98% honest
Tennessee 98% honest
Alaska 96% honest
California 96% honest
